MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 16, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:Ol P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and
Penovich.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License:
Eileen Biel Debra Sprague
Patricia Hauck John Sprague
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend Council approval subject to receipt
of favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve Alarm Permit for Terrance Siefert,
W146 S7424 Durham Drive. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee discussed resubmitted Offer to Purchase of City- Owned Land on Woodland Place received from Mr. Roger Kastello.
Ald. Penovich moved to approve Offer to Purchase in the amount of
0
$12,500, with a counter-offer to clarify certain contingencies.
Seconded by Aid. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Recreation Department Budget with Recreation Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer.
The Committee reviewed Parks Department Budget with Parks
Supervisor Peter Theis. The Parks Department is requesting a
full-time employee and has submitted two additional options.
The Committee reviewed Cable Club Budget with Recreation
Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer.
The Committee reviewed Historical Society Budget with Recreation
Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer and Parks Supervisor Peter Theis.
The Committee discussed authorizing cleaning of ditch in the
Industrial Park. Ald. Hilt moved to approve subject to permit
being received from the DNR. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed establishing of committee for
negotiations. The committee will be determined at the Common
Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 1987.
l The Committee reviewed re uest for release of funds for Durhamswood Subdivision A dn. 1 81. Ald. Dumke moved to approve release of funds subject to approval by the City Engineers and the
Public Works Committee. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.

Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of General Utility Vouchers in the amount of $174,936.05. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Aid. Hilt moved to approve payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in the
amount of $9,286.14. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
