MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 6, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and
Penovich, Tony Bareta, Mr. & Mrs. Masterson, Mr. Victor Lemke and Mr. & Mrs. Dar1 Honl.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License:

Joanna Kurer Nancy Szymanski
Kari Sievert Matthew Ratsch
Sally Lamb
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the above persons
subject to receipt of favorable police report. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee started approval of liquor licenses. Ald. Dumke
moved to approve Liquor License for North Palm Beach, effective July 1, 1987, and noted change in partnership. Seconded by Ald.
Hilt, motion carried.
Mr. & Mrs. Masterson appeared before the Committee to question
the City's intent as to park land purchase as a result of a discussion held at the Public Hearing on April 28, 1987,
regarding the rezoning of his property. Ald. Penovich moved that
no park purchase be implemented upon approval of building, site and operation plan. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Comittee reviewed amendment to Offer to Purchase - Industrial
Park Addn. #l (McClure) to allow for an extension of time. Ald.
Hilt moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed request for promotional funds for the Industrial Park. Ald. Hilt moved to approve expenditure of
promotional funds, not to exceed $3,000; for a 12' x 24'large
billboard type sign announcing the availability of land in the park. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried, with Ald. Dumke abstaining.
The Committee reviewed the self-service vending agreement with
Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group. Ald. Penovich moved to approve
vending agreement on a two month trial basis, and authorized Mayor to sign. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $530,591.95. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.

Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in
the amount of $61,593.30. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
