MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 4, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:OO P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Hilt, Mr.
& Mrs. .James Ryan; Robert Klenz and Gregory Boehm. Ald. Penovich
was absent.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License:
Cindy Budish
David Halbrucker
Sharyn Wagner
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the above persons subject
to receipt of favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Hilt,
motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Offer to Purchase for Block 3, Lot 4 of the
Industrial Park Addn. received from Oliver & Audrey McClure in the amount of $26,000. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend Council approval.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Mr. Gregory Boehm appeared before the Committee to request that the
City hire a part-time Sewer Inspector. Ald. Dumke moved to direct the Mayor, in consultation with the Building Inspector, to pursue
the feasibility of the position and contract with a qualified applicant. A reimbursement to the City for in-house expenses would
be computed on an hourly rate for providing this service. Seconded
by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Mr. & Mrs. Ryan appeared before the Committee to inquire as to the
possibility of purchasing City-owned land on Fairfield. The
Committee was receptive to having an Offer to Purchase submitted for
review at the March 10, 1987 Finance meeting. The Mayor was
directed to research if the City can make a division of a 5th parcel
of land.
The Committee reviewed Offer to Purchase for City-owned land on Woodland Place in the amount of $15,500. Ald. Hilt moved to
recommend Council approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the amount of $226,031.82. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in the amount of $3,507.57. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
