MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 21, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and
Penovich, Ald. DeAngeLis and Robert Schaefer.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License:
Janet L. Sperle William R. O'guinn
Timothy J. Falvey George E. Kippenhan, Jr. Dale G Karpinski Mary B. Tekus
Lori J. Hohl Susan K. Neal
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the above persons
subject to receipt of favorable police reports.
Committee reviewed lease for city-owned property for Mr. Robert
Schaefer in the amount of $250.00 per year for two years. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed request for expenditure of Park Dedication
Funds from the Recreation Department at a monthly operating cost
for the balance of the year, amounting to $206.64, which would
allow for the instalation of two Lights at Jensen Park. ALd.
Dumke moved to recommend approval subject to review of auditors to see if it is a valid expenditure from the Park Dedication
Fund. Seconded by Aid. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed recommendation from Parks h Recreation
Board on the purchase of a truck, which was an approved Capital
Budget item, in the amount of $18,123.26. Ald. Dumke moved to
recommend approval. Seconded by Aid. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed elevator maintenance contract from
Northwestern Elevator Co. at a monthly cost of $66.61 or a bi-
monthly cost of $81.84. Ald. Hilt moved to deny. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $36.233.34 for 1986 and $38.727.42 for 1987. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in
the amount of $1.802.87 for 1986 and $8.650.89 for 1987. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
