FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 8, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and Penovich, Ald.
DeAngelis, Aid. Patterson, Chief Johnson and those per the attached
list..
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License:
John T. Meyers, Jr. Linda M. Martin
Charmaine B. Brown Lisa P. Duvall
Pamela A. Markulin Donald J. Kreitzer
Catherine J. Colla
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the above persons, with
the exception of Catherine J. Colla, subject to receipt of
favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to defer Operator's License application of
Catherine Cola until Finance Committtee meeting of October 14,
1986, in order for her to learn rules and ordinances. Seconded by
Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of Alarm Permit for Donald
Dibb. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Police Department request for transfer of
$3,765 from the Gasoline, Oil and Lubrication Account (Account
KOlOO-2000-3311) to the Maintenance of Radios Account (Account
#OlOO-2000-5300) to allow for the purchase of eight used radios.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed 1987 Budget requests for Cable TV Club with
Recreation Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer and members of the Cable TV Club.
The Committee reviewed 1987 Budget requests for Muskego Historical
Society with members of the Historical Soceity.
The Committee reviewed 1987 Budget requests for Parks Department
with Parks Supervisor Peter Theis.
The Committee reviewed 1987 Budget requests for Recreation Department with Recreation Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer.
The Committee reviewed salary scale for Recreation Secretary with Recreation Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer. Ald. Hilt moved to keep salary at $6.80 per hour. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.

The Committee reviewed status report from Building Inspection
Department for Plumbing Inspector.
The Committee reviewed progress report from Building Inspector on
the Bayside Tavern, S78 W16355 Woods Road.
The Committee reviewed the 1987 Capital Budget requests.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of General Vouchers
in the amount of $228,279.62. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried.
Aid. Hilt moved to recommend Council approval of Sewer Utility
Vouchers in the amount of $10,018.62. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.
