MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 26, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and Penovich, Ald.
DeAngelis, Ald. Sanders, Ald. Taube and City Clerk Stewart.
The Committee further reviewed full-time secretarial classification
for the Recreation Department. Correspondence from Recreation
Supervisor Schweitzer dated August 26, 1986 was read. Ald. Hilt
moved to approve establishing a new position and setting new wage
scale as outlined. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for second-step salary scale for
Temporary Voter Registration Clerk with City Clerk Stewart. Ald.
Penovich moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Hilt,
motion carried. The Committee recognizes that the employee in
question has been employed by the City for fifteen months and is
familiar with City operations.
The Committee reviewed WEPCO easement for the Industrial Park
Addition. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for extension of probationary period-Building Inspection Department. Upon recommendation of the
Building Inspector, Ald. Hilt moved to approve granting of additional 90 days probationary period. Seconded by Ald. Penovich,
motion carried. The Committee requests that progress reports be
issued to Finance Committee every 30 days on employee by Building
Inspector.
