FCM19860716FINANCE MINUTES - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 16, 1986 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:00 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Hilt, Dumke and Penovich, and Ald. DeAngelis. The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License: Jeff Gottfried Trudy Schweitzer Sandra Coleman Michele Gilgenbach Inez Knopps Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the above persons subject to receipt of favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried. The Committee discussed Salvage h Recycling license application for John Glockner. Ald. Dumke moved to approve license application. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried. The Committee discussed Resolution #145-86, Globe Liquidation, with representatives of Globe Contractors. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend dismissing liquidation damages. Seconded by Ald. Hilt. The motion carried with Ald. Hilt and Penovich voting "yes" and Ald. Dumke voting "no". The Committee discussed Operator's License application with Todd Helm and Mr. Ted Hollon, license holder for Family Connection. Aid, Penovich moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee discussed financing for paving parking lot at Mill Valley School. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend that the City share the cost for one-third of the parking lot and that the cost of the other two-thirds be the responsibility of the School District because of school bus use. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee reviewed Point Denoon - Vacating of Land. Ald. Hilt moved to not defend City's interest in property. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. Fzz&z%;;~ The Committee reviewed listing contract for City-Owned Property on Woodland received from Bob Klenz. The Committee requests that commission be added to asking price of $16,500. Finance Minutes - Page 2 July 16, 1986 The Committee reviewed the minutes of the last meeting in regards to lighting request for Schmidt Park. Ald. Dumke moved to deny request because of police department's recommendation that based upon their records, it does not appear that vandalism at Schmidt Park would warrant the expense of lighting installation at this time.
