MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 18, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt &
Penovich, Police Chief Johnson, Ald. DeAngelis, Lynn Kurer
(Bushy's Tavern).
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License:

Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the above persons
subject to receipt of favorable police report. Seconded by Ald.
Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee discussed definition of "one public dance" as
referred to in Ordinance #538 - "Special Permit" License. It was
decided that a permit would be required for each day's event.
The Committee reviewed memorandum from Deputy Clerk on Liquor
License applications regarding the fifteen day waiting period
from the date of application.
The Committee discussed Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and
Intoxicating Liquor License Application with Susan May Yerke for
You and Me Lounge, W126 S9218 N. Cape Road. Ald. Dumke moved to
recommend Council approval, with condition of "No outside sales
after 11:00 P.M." Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee discussed Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and
Intoxicating Liquor License with Ted Hollon for Family
Connection, S76 W18040 Janesville Road. Ald. Hilt moved to
recommend Council approval with effective date of July 2, 1986.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the Gathering Permit
for Sully's Tuggers to be held at Horn Park on July 19, 1986. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the Gathering Permit for
Little Muskego Lake Association to be held at Idle Isle Park (W182 S6666 Hardtke Drive) on July 25 through July 27, 1986.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.

The Committee discussed request for Special Permit with extension
of time to 11:30 P.M. with Lynn Kurer for Bushyfest which is
scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13.
1986. Ald. Hilt moved to grant the one hour extension to 11:30
P.M. for Saturday night, July 12, 1986, only. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee discussed Class A license application availability. Dennis Eichman for Sentry Foods and Swatek Sales Corp. for Pump and Save on Janesville Rd. have applied for
available Class A Beer and Liquor License. Ald. Hilt moved to
recommend approval of license for Sentry Foods. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the License
Applications for 1986/87 per the attached list (except as noted
below), with the condition of "No Outside Sales After 11:00 P.M.
for the following: Richard Schaumberg, Eugene J. Sobek, Susan May Yerke, Contract Vat Services, Diana R. Repischak, Jeffrey L.
Bosanac, Audrey M. Oschmann,
Ald. Dumke moved to deny request of Parkside Inn for licensing of
premises to include parking lot and lawn area. Seconded by Ald.
Hilt, motion carried. Licensing of the outside premises was
denied because of residential nature of neighborhood and lack of
controlled access.
Ald. Hilt moved to deny request of Hillside Tavern to license
areas other than immediate premises due to lack of controlled
area and residential nature of neighborhood. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee discussed license application for Bayside Tavern.
The Committee recommended approval with the condition that this
license will not be issued until all improvements agreed upon are
completed.
The Committee discussed Class B License for Caradaro Club. The
Committee decided to notify Consiglio Cirillo in case any requests are received for his license.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of a Shooting Range Application for Boxhorn's Big Muskego Gun Club, S90 W13960
Boxhorn Drive, Hunter's Nest, S80 W14401 Schultz Lane with following conditions: 1. Time of Use restricted to 10:00 A.M. to
5:00 P.M., Closed on Monday. 2. No Leagues Permitted. 3. Use
limited to members of Lakeview Gun Club only, and Rep's Dam
Tavern, W173 S10626 Muskego Dam. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.

The Committee is requesting complete Building Inspector's report
on Schultz's Resort, W143 S8025 Schultz Lane, to be reviewed by
the Finance Committee in regard to Daniel A. Posielenzny's
application for a Shooting Range permit.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve Refuse Hauler Permits for 1986/87 for
Town & Country Waste Service, Inc. (W143 S6400 College Ct.), Best
Disposal Systems, (10627 South 27th Street-Franklin), United
Waste Systems (W124 S8925 Boundary Road), City of Waukesha
Incinerator (900 Sentry Drive-Waukesha), Sanitary Disposal Service, Inc. (N14 W30721 S. Service Road (P. 0. Box 20- Delafield), Waste Management of Milwaukee (360 S. Curtis Road- West Allis), and Cotton Disposal, Inc. (W222 S1708 Cotton Street- Waukesha). Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee discussed slalom course on Little Muskego Lake with Chief Johnson. It appears as if requirements are being met.
The Committee reviewed Police Department request for a sergeant
to participate in a Social Services program. Ald. Hilt moved to
approve. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee discussed possible liquidation damages to the
Industrial Park by Globe Contractors. Ald. Hilt moved to approve the liquidated damage amount of $6,250. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried. The Committee is directing the City Engineers to
pursue $1,500. credit.
The Committee discussed employment applicant's physicals. Ald.
Hilt moved to defer for further study. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.
The Committee discussed amendment to bail bond to set the fine at
$100 plus penalty assessment, plus costs, for a toal of $125. Restitution will be ordered in all appropriate cases. Ald. Dumke
moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed Parks 6r Recreation Board's recommended expenditures for the Historical Society. Ald. Hilt moved to
recommend approval of $1,000. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $196,257.01 Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in
the amount of $10,472.64. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
