MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 27, 1986
The meeting was called to order at J:OO P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and
Penovich, Ald. Sanders, Ald. DeAngelis, Financial Consultant
Seegar Swanson, Ald. Taube and Ald. Patterson. Ald. Hilt was absent.
The Committee discussed authorizing Ehlers & Associates to
solicit $2,225,000 in Promissory Notes. Ald.Dumke moved to
recommend Council approval. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed request for Extension of Time-Kurtze Lane
Road Project. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of
a 30 day extension to July 1, 1986. Seconded by Ald. Penovich,
motion carried.
The Committee discussed request for Extension of Time-Industrial
Park Grading Project (Enders Construction). Ald. Penovich moved
to recommend Council approval for an extension of time until June
10, 1986. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewd bid for installation of Waterworks Telemetry Control System. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend
Council approval of the one bid received from Kamp & Associates
Inc., in the amount of $26,990. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed waiving collection of the Ad Valorem
property tax equivalents for the Water Utility. Ald. Dumke moved
to collect Ad Valorem taxes. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7~34 P.M.
