FCM19851009CORRECTED 0 FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 9, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:OO P.M. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis, Wanda Olson and Sharon Erdman. The Committee discussed the Historical Society budget with Sharon Erdman. The Committee discussed the Women's Club donation of approximately $15,000 to the City Hall/Library expansion. The Women's Club is asking for a contract with the City which would grant them use of the meeting room on the 2nd Monday of each month (September thru May), a locked cabinet and preferential treatment in scheduling special events, with adequate notification. The Committee was in agreement with this principle and asked Mrs. Olson to draft a rough agreement which will be given to the City Attorney for review. The Committee discussed Recreation Department Budget with Recreation Supervisor Jackie Schweitzer. The Committee discussed Parks Department Budget with Parks Supervisor Theis. The Committee discussed Dance Instructor's salary increase with requesting a 8 2.00 increase to $16.50 an hour. Ald. Penovich Tomczyk, motion carried. moved to recommend $.50 per hour increase. Seconded by Ald. The Committee reviewed Recreation Supervisor's request for use of funds (revenue from Ingersoll Cable) for audio/visual equipment for taping and showing programs on community access channel. The Public Welfare Committee will review with Mr. John Ingersoll at their meeting on October 17, 1985. The Committee reviewed agreement between City of Muskego & Conley, McDonald, Sprague & Co. - General Fund. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. The Committee reviewed agreement between City of Muskego & Conley, McDonald, Sprague & Co. - Sewer Utility. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
