FCM19850417FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 17, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:40 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Tomczyk and absent. The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License: Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis and Seegar Swanson. Ald. Dumke was Abraham Mater Pamela Bartoshevich Sandra Turner Carole Graham Nicholas Thomas Steve Schmidt Marsha Swarthout Ald. Penovich moved to recommend Council approval of the above persons, subject to receipt of favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, motion carried. The following person appeared to apply for a Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License: Jeffrey Bosanac, W145 58016 Schultz Lane, Hales Corners, WI 53130 - Jeff's Black Duck (formerly Crosby's) Ald. Penovich moved to recommend Council approval of the above license, subject to receipt of favorable police report. Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend approval of a gathering permit for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Muskego Volunteer Fire Co. for April 27, 1985. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. Financial Consultant, Seegar Swanson, advised the Committee of May 29 and recommended the Council pass a resolution authorizing current interest rates on borrowing. He suggested a Bond Sale on him to proceed with soliciting competitive proposals. The Committee discussed delinquent personal property taxes thru 1982. Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend to Council the City absorbing the delinquent personal property taxes in the amount of $8,026.21. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the request of Senator Lynn Adelman for use of the Council Chambers on Monday, April 29, 1985, to meet with the Citizens of Muskego. Ald. Tomczyk moved for approval. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend approval of payment of the General Vouchers in the amount of $129,436.33. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
