FCM19840606J * FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 6, 1984 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:30 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Tomczyk and Penovich, Ald. Gaetzke and Michael Nowitzke. The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's license: Catherine Chojnacki Rosalie Slattery Joanne Rozek Paul Vopal Warren Helm Geoffrey Gottheardt Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend Council approval of the above Penovich, motion carried. persons subject to favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval of Dump Refuse Hauling Permit for the following: City of Waukesha Cotton Disposal, Inc. J. P. Funk Trucking, Inc. Town h Country Waste Service Re1 Sanitation, Inc. Ald. Tomczyk seconded, motion carried. The Committee reviewed all requests for Class A Fermented Malt Beverage Licenses, Class A Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor Licenses, Class B Fermented Malt Beverage Licenses, Class 3 Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor Licenses, Wholesale Fermented Malt Beverage License, Swimming Beach and Waterway Marker permits and Trap and Rifle Range Permits, The Committee noted that two Class B applications have been received for W173 S10626 Muskego Dam Road Denoon Road because the closing of the sale of the property from Molly Caesar to Diana Repischak will not take place until June Casear's license in addition to approval of the license for 15, 1984. The Committee recommended approval of renewal of Repischak in the event the closing would not take place. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval to the Council of the motion carried. (License period 7/1/84-6/30/85) attached list of license requests. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval of a gathering permit for St. Leonard Parish Festival for July 21 and 22, 1984. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, motion carried. e 0 Finance Committee 6/6/84 - Page 2 The Committee reviewed the claim of Alvin Basse for crop damage. Communication from Joseph Eberle of Ruekert h Mielke was discussed wherein they state the damage was in the construction easements; therefore, it is not the responsibility of the contractor to pay for the damage. Mr. Basse's claim is for one- half acre of corn estimated at 90 bu. per acre at $30.35 or $150.75. Also, end rows of soy bean on Woods Road of $25.00 for a total of $175.75. Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend payment of $175.75 to Mr. Alvin Basse for crop damage. Ald. Penovich seconded, motion carried. The Committee discussed the WEPCO easement for the Sandy Beach Pumping Station.. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval. Ald. Tomczyk seconded, motion carried. The committee reviewed the lease of city-owned property to Richard Schaumberg in the amount of $180 for one year. Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend approval of lease renewal. Ald. Penovich seconded, motion carried. The Committee discussed the Police Department's request for Officer to attend 1984 Governor's Conference on Highway Safety. Ald. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Ald. Penovich seconded, motion carried. The Committee reviewed request of City Clerk to transfer Haut land contract funds in operating budget as follows: 0 Transfer From: Act. 39114 (TID 1) $16,492.50 Transfer To: Act. 59000-9100 9.000.00 (debt princ.) 7,492.50 (debt int.) 0 59000-9400 Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval of request for transfer of funds. Ald. Tomczyk seconded, motion carried. Penovich seconded, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the general vouchers totaling $253,876.96. Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend approval. Ald. Penovich seconded, motion carried.
