MINUTES OF MEETING EELD SEPTEMBER 7, 1983
The meeting was called to order at 7.30 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Colburn,
Dumke, and Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis, Gaetzke, City Clerk,Mrs.
Ellertson, Chief Scholz, Gerald Lee, and Mr. Beilfuss.
Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval for a gathering
permit for Salentine Buick for September 24, 1983. Seconded
by Ald. Colburn. Motion carried.

Ald. Colburn moved to reconmend approval of a parade permit
for Muskego High School for October 8, 1983. Seconded
by Ald., Penovich. Motion carried.
Ald. Colburn moved to recommend approval of a archery permit for Hunters Nest. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Kotion carried.
The Committee requests that Loreen Klausen attend the next
Finance Committee meeting to give Committee more information
on rifle permit.
The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's License

The Committee discussed request to send Officer Budish to
"Sensitive Crime" Seminar in Madison. Ald. Colburn moved to
carried.
The Committee discussed proposed bid from Bob Stack for city-
owned lot on Saroyan and Longfellow. Mr. Stack stated that
due to estimated cost of de-watering he is no longer interested
in the lot. The Committee is requesting that Ald. Nilsson
check to see if any of the neighbors would be interested in
purchasing the lot and report back to the Committee. The $50.00
deposit made by Mr. Stack will be refunded.
The Committee discussed request for additional help in the
Building Inspection Department with Jerry Lee. The Committee
recommends that Rules, Laws and Ordinances review if Building
Ald. Colburn moved to deny request for additional help.
Inspection or Police Department be responsible for junk cars.
Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Ald. Penovich and Colburn voted
"aye". Ald. Dumke voted "no".
The Committee discussed city-owned land on Schultz Lane. The
Committee will discuss at next meeting after City Attorney
reviews to see if road is public or private.

Finance Committee
The Committee discussed reimbursement of delinquent and
postponed Real Estate Taxes to Municipalities. Aid. Dum''
moved' to support of reimbursement in 1984 at the
1983 level (50% in ~pril and 50% in August) instead Of the
,,rol,oscd level for 1984 of 25% in ~pril and 75% in August.

Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of payment of General
Vouchers in the amount of $501,582.19. Seconded by Ald.
Colburn 1\10 t ion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of payment of Sewer
Utility Vouchers in the amount of $4,136.20. Seconded by
Ald. Colburn. Motion carried.
