MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 3, 1983
Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Penovich. Ald.
The meeting was called to order at 7:47 P.M. by Chairman Salentine.
Nilsson and Mr. Bill Kuchera were also present. Ald. Colburn
arrived at 8 45 P.M. from the Little Muskego Lake Protection and
Rehabilitation District meeting
(1) Mr. Dennis Eichman appeared to apply for a Class A Fermented Malt
moved to reconunend approval. Seconded by Ald Dumke. Motion
Beverage License for Eichman Foods, Inc. (Sentry). Ald. Penovich
carried.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License:
Charles Woodring
Mike Addis
Ron Worzalla
James Holtz
Sandra Hardtke
Ald. Dumke moved to reconunend approval of the above persons to be
granted an Operator's License, subject to favorable police reports
Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed sale of lot on Fairfield Drive. (Parcel #2)
Ald. Penovich moved to advertise this lot in the Muskego Sun and
Milwaukee Journal for one week Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried.
The Committee discussed sale of City owned land on Schultz Lane.
The Committee will discuss this further at a later meeting after
Public Works Committee looks at the road reconstruction.
The Committee discussed Mooney & Associates recornendation to
sell two lots adjacent to the Park in the Industrial Park. Mr.
Mooney recornended soil testing on the two lots to see if they
are saleable with an estimated cost of $800.00 - $1,200.00 for
the two. Ald. Dumke moved to have soil testing done on the two
lots with the cost not to exceed $1,200.00 to be paid out of
account #58500-3212, Industrial Park Expenses. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich. Motion carried.
Ald. Penovich moved to amend the Finance Conunittee Minutes of
July 26, 1983 pertaining to Mayor Salentine's request to
attend the League of Municipalities Chief Executive Workshop
August 10th through the 13th at a cost of $40.00 per day not $24.00.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed use of TIF Funds for concrete forms for
a cost of approximately 10,000.00 for 400 ft Ald Penovich moved to
forming of ditches as re uested by the Public Works Committee at
recommend approval with funds to cone from TIF Districts 1-6.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried
Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval of payment of General
Vouchers in the amount of $667,903.35. Seconded by Ald. Dumke.
Motion carried.
Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval of payment of Sewer
Utility vouchers in the amount of $338,973.58. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke Motion carried.
Ald Dumke moved to adjourn at 8:58 P.M. Seconded by Ald. Penovich.
Motion carried.
