MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 12, 1983
The meeting was called to order at 7:20 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Colburn, Dumke
and Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis, Ald. Nilsson and Bill Kuchera.
The Committee reviewed a request from the VFW for a gathering
permit for August 25-28, 1983. Ald. Colburn moved to recommend
approval. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Transient Merchant applications for Help
Publishing and James McGowan. Ald. Penovich moved to defer
pending receipt of additional information. Seconded by Ald.
Colburn, motion carried.
The Committee discussed the sale of city-owned land on Schultz
Lane. Ald. Dumke will discuss with neighbors and report at the
next Finance meeting.
The Committee discussed bid acceptance for Meadowdale Drainage
Project. Ald. Penovich moved to accept the low bid from Koch
& Bonness for $214,065.00. Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed the Jurisdictional Offer to Gladys Mike
by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
for $110.00. Ald. Colburn moved to recommend approval. Seconded
The Committee discussed waiving the permit fee for the VFW parade.
Ald. Colburn moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Colburn moved to recommend approval of payment of General
Vouchers in the amount of $275,407.77. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich, motion carried.
Ald. Colburn moved to recommend approval of payment of Sewer
Utility Vouchers in the amount of $8,522.94. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Colburn moved to adjourn at 7:38 P.M. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich, motion carried.
