FINANCE COMVITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 8, 1983
The meeting was called to order at 6 :32 P.M. by Chairman
Dumke and Penovich. Ald. Treba, Tomczyk and Nilsson and
Salentine. Also present were Committee Wembers Klenz,
those persons per the attached list. ,
The Committee discussed expansion of the library with
to approve expenditure of architectural fees not to
representatives of the Library Board. Ald. Klenz moved
exceed $10,000. The motion failed for lack of a second.
Ald. Klenz moved to disapprove expansion of the Library.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License '
Timothy Kantak Randall Zellmer
Ald. Klenz moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Tim.
Kantak & Randal Zellmer, subject to receipt of favorable
police report. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed filling of vacant position at
Police Department with Chief Scholz.
The Committee discussed the status of employees pension
plan. Ald. Klenz moved to approve request of terminated
Building Inspector to be 100% vested. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed Meadowdale Drainage project It was
determined that the project would be financed from TIF #3.
The Committee discussed pro-rated benefits for part-time
employees. Ald. Klenz moved to direct the City Clerk to
Pro-rate all fringe benefits for part-tAme e.mployees as of
1/1/63; Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Yo'tion carried.
The committee recognized capital budget requests for 6983
(TIF) and will review them at council.

Ald. Klenz moved to approve payment of general vouchers in
the amount of $158,672.68. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried.
Ald. Klenz moved to approve payment of sewer utility vouchers
in the amount of $1,322.43. Seconded by Ald Dumke. Motion
carr ied .
Ald. Klenz moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8.07 P.M.
