MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 7, 1982
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Dumke at 7:30 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Wayne Radtke and Wayne Salentine,
Ald. Robert Klenz and Police Chief Scholz. Mayor Gottfried arrived
at 7:45 P.M. Also present were those persons as per the attached list
The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's License:

Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for
the above listed persons. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The committee reviewed the application for a "Gathering" Permit
to September 27, 1982 (All Home Games). Ald. Radtke moved to
for the Muskego Lake 0 Lakes Baseball Club at Horn Field from May 1

Police Chief Scholz appeared at the meeting to discuss the capital
budgeted amount for landscaping and curb and gutter in the amount
of $4,500.00. Ald. Radtke moved to recomend Council approval of
a resolution authorizing completion of the work in an amount not
to exceed $4,500.00. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Mr. Michael Mooney of Mooney k Associates, appeared at the meeting
to discuss proposed expansion of the city's industrial park. Ald.
Salentine moved to have Mr. Mooney provide a cost analysis estimate
of the project to be presented to the Common Council. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The committee reviewed a request from Police Chief Scholz to attend
a two day seminar on personnel selection in Madison on May 6 and 7,
1982. Ald. Salentine moved to deny the request. Seconded by Ald.
Radtke. Motion carried.
Am. Dumke moved to recomend Council approval of an agreement
Between A-1 Service Company and the Parks and Recreation Department
for sanitary facilities at the baseball complexes at Mill Valley
School, Bluhm Park and the High School in the amount Of $262.50
per month from May 1st thru August 31st, 1982. Seconded by Ald.
Radtke. Motion carried.
A communication from the Department of Natural Resources, dated
4/1/82 advising the city would be receiving $1.177.59 water patrol
aids for the year 1981, was reviewed and placed on file.
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend Council approval of a request from
the City Clerk to transfer $5,241.00 from the Contingency Fund,
Account #58300-3212 to Account #51200-8100, Municipal Retirement.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The committee deferred action on the request for the Parks Foreman
to purchase park equipment in the amount of $4,589.50 until the
Finance Committee meeting of 4/13/82.

Policy for Attendance by Elected Officials and City Employees at
Conferences, Meetings, etc., Ald. Dumke moved to further amend the
resolution by adding the words "per person" after the $20.00 amount
in item #2 and by changing the words "line budgeted for" to "spec-
of city" and "out of town" wherever they appeared in the resolution.

The minutes of the previous meeting held March 17, 1982 were reviewed.
The request of Mr. Udvare was referred to the League of Municipalities
by the City Attorney and as of this date no reply has been received.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of payment of vouchers in the
amount of $108,126.25. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved to have the City Attorney draft a contract in
response to Oliver William’s letter dated March 31, 1982. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Ald. Radtke moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:50 P.M.
