MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 3, 1982
The meeting WLIS called to order ut 7 33 P.M. by AcLInk: Chalrman
Dumke. Also present were Committee Members Radtke and Salentine
and Police Chief Scholz.
The following persons applied for Operator's License

Ald. Radtke moved to recommend approval of the above listed persons
to hold an Operator's License, subject to approval of a favorable
police report. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried.
Police Chief Scholz appeared at the meeting to request some
direction as to whether or not he should prepare specifications
with mileage in excess of 60,000 miles for 1982 models or to
and request bids for two hew squads to replace two 1979 Buicks
wait for 1983 models.
A communication dated Februa'ry 3, 1982, from Olga Mimier, President
of the Library Board, was ,reviewed.and placed on file.
Ald. Radtke moved to recommend to the Common Council to reject all
bids received for janitorial service for the city-hall-library and
police building and that new specifications based on services
presently being performed by J & J Cleaning Service be prepared.

It was agreed that a copy of the proposed specifications should be
Ald. Lhmke moved to recommend to the Common Council the uncollectible

Ald. Salentine moved to recommend to the Common Council the
grievances filed by city hall employees relating to the January 4th
closing of city hall be resolved by paying the employees one-half
or to use their floating holiday (no sick day). Seconded by Ald.

Ald. Radtke moved to recommend approval of a "Gathering" Permit for
the Icetronauts Snowmobile Club for February 14, 1982. Seconded
by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried.
Ald Salentine moved that $13,798.37 be released to Don DeBack
Construction CO. as recommended by the city engineers for work
completed on the Tess Corners Drainage Project. Seconded by Ald.
Radtke. Motion carried.
Ald. Radtke moved to recommend Council approval of payment of
vouchers in the amount of $163,812.44. Seconded by Ald. Salenti.ne.
Motion carried.
Ald. Radtke moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 10 00 P.M.
