MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 5, 1981
The meeting was called to order at 8:12 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried.
Also present were Committee Members Radtke, Dumke and Salentine,
Aldermen Klenz, Steinberg, Penovich and Knudsen, City Clerk Stewart
and Police Chief Scholz
Anna Scott appeared at the meeting to apply for an Operator's License
Aid. Radtke moved to recommend-approval of sme, subject to receipt of favorable police report. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Correspondence from the Tees Corners Volunteer Fire Department
was reviewed. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend to Common
Council that charges for rescue service when transportation Out
of Waukesha County is necessary should be raised to $100.00.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. The additional $15.00
would be paid to the'Pess Corners Fire Department which might
affect future budget requests.
The matter of charging for fire inspection by the city's fire
departments as required by state law was deferred until policies
of surrounding communities can be determined.
The minutes of meeting held October 26th were reviewed and placed
on file.
The committee reviewed a communication from the County Treasurer
regnrding two parcels of land which the city could purchase for
back taxes. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend to the Common Council
the city purchase from the county the following properties:

Ald. Radtke moved to advertise for the position of Humane Officer
after it is determined whether or not licensed kennels in the
area would have available holding space. Seconded by Ald. Dumke.

0 The committee acknowledged a communication from Wausau Insurance, dated October 26, 1981, indicating that the city would be re-
imbursed $1,900.00 for a squad car recently damaged.
The Committee directed Mayor Gottfried to advertise the used squad
cars for sale. f The committee reaffirmed its decision to donate the unused voting
machine to the high school.
The committee discussed the rate of interest to'be charged to the
Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District for
assessments against the city.. It was agreed by the Finance committee
the rate would be 12 percent.
Ald. Radtke moved to recommend approval Of payment of vouchers in
the amount of $331,643.06. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion
carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Notion
carried. .The meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
