MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 3, 1981
The meeting was called to order at 8:lO P.M. by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were Committee Members Radtke and
Salentine, Aldermen Knudsen and Klenz, Chief Scholz and
Clerk Stewart.
The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's License:

Diane Dombrowski Ald. Radtke moved to recommend Council approval of the above

Mr. and Mrs. Giese appeared with their son Dean to discuss
their responsibilities as holders of a Class B Fermented Malt
Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License. Mr. Giese assured
the comittee of his continuing efforts to run a respectable
and problem-free tavern.
Mr. Mike Fitzgerald appeared to request a two-week permit in
order that his ski club can use the ski jump. He indicated
that it was his hope to be able to use the ski jump through
the entire sunrmer assuming the necessary changes in the ordinance
are made by the Council. Mr. Fitzgerald indicated that he was
considering placing the ski jump on the east side of Paul

Training. He hdicated that since the class size is limited
to 24 students, it probably would take 1981 and part of 1982
before all officers had completed the course. Ald. Radtke
moved to authorize the Chief to send all patrol officers to
class in traffic radar training. Seconded by Ald. Salentine,
motion carried.
Chief Scholz discussed with the committee the status of Account
52000-5100 (Maintenance of Vehicles and Equipment), He indi-
cated that of the original $8,400 there is a balance of
$2,912.52, assuming that he uses $1,850.00 originally budgeted
for radio installation for vehicle maintenance.
The comittee once again reviewed all requests for Class B
Malt Beverage Licenses, Class A Fermented Malt Beverage and
Fermented Malt Beverage and Liquor Licenses, Class A Fermented
Intoxicating Liquor Licenses, Clam B Fermented Malt Beverage
Licenses and Beer Distributors Licenses. Ald. Salentine moved
Licenses, Swimming Beach permits and Water Markers, Trapshoot
to recommend to tile Council approval of the attached list of license requests. Seconded by Ald. Radtke, motion carried.
The committee reviewed a report from the Library Committee suggesting that refunds be made to those non-resident individuals
who received and paid for library cards. Ald. Radtke moved to
authorize the clerk to make the several refunds. The motion
lost for lack of a second.

Ald. Salentine moved to recornend approval of vouchers in e
the amount of $209,086.92. Seconded by Ald. Radtke, motion
carried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed
on file.
Mr. Seegar Swanson appeared before the committee and presented them with up-dated revenue projections for the seven tax
increment districts. Following discussion, Mr. Swanson indi-
cated he would provide the committee with a list of completed projects which are now being financed by tax increment financing.
Discussion regarding Tudor Oaks was deferred to the next meeting.
A Statement of Assessment received from Assessor DeAngebis was acknowledged and placed on file.
Ald. Radtke moved to adjourn at 11:30 P.M. Seconded by Ald.
Salentine, motion carried.
