MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 8, 1981
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 8:00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Yembers Weed and Radtke, Police Chief
Scholz, members of the Muskego Police Association and Robert Klenz.

The committee discussed the matter of the request from the Library
to continue the maintenance agreement on the memory typewriter used
in that department at a cost of $396.00 per year, The committee
noted the typewriter is used constantly every day. Ald. Radtke
moved to recommend to Common Council approval of a maintenance
agreement with IBM for the Library Memory Typewriter. Seconded
by Ald. Weed. Motion carried.
The committee discussed at length the errors and omissions policy
city's insurance carrier. The committee agreed that if the policy
for city officials and employees which has been recommended by the

The committee discussed briefly the request of Tudor Oaks for a
revision of the present voluntary agreement which they have with
the city. Further discussion was deferred until the next meeting.
The committee reviewed a note from the city's maintenance service
indicating that they would clean the carpeting in the city hall and
library for $635.00. The committee noted that the carpeting had
been cleaned over a year ago for the same figure. Ald. Weed moved
to have the carpeting cleaned Seconded by Ald. Radtke Motion
carried. At the request of Chief Scholz a quote to clean the police
department carpeting will also be requested.
The committee reviewed a communication from the DNR regarding the
appraisal of Dandilion Park. It indicated that LAWCON funding or
ORAP funding probably would not be available because of President
Reagan's austerity program. The committee agreed that no further
monies should be expended on this matter at the present time.
The committee acknowledged receipt of trans ortation aids from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in t K e amount of $49,039 83.

Ald. Weed moved to recommend Council approval of vouchers totalling
\ \ $295,890.84. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
\ \Aid. Salentine discussed with the committee a suggestion from the Lake
Denoon Advancement Association that the water patrolman's activities
be reduced substantially. The committee agreed to review the matter further,
Ald. Weed moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
