FCM19801217FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUS 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEB Q&7, 1980 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 7 35 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Radtke, Dumke and Weed, Ald Salentine and Police Chief Scholz Mr. Gerald Reinhardt appeared to apply for an Operator's License. Ald. Radtke moved to recommend approval, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Police Chief Scholz appeared at the meeting to request permission to advertise for bids for four new squad cars. Ald. Radtke moved Motion carried. to recommend approval of the request, Seconded by Ald Dumke. Ald. Radtke moved to have the minimum wage be established at $3.35 carried. for city employees as required by law, Seconded by Ald. Weed. Motion Ald. Radtke moved to carry over $8,000 from the 1980 capital budget. Seconded by Ald. Weed. Motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of payment of sewer vouchers in the amount of $55,523.90, Big Muskego Lake-Bass Bay Protection and Rehabilitation District vouchers in the amount of $11,599.00 and Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District vouchers in the amount of $79,095.85. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Notion carried. The committee recommended approval of payment of League of Munic- ipality dues in the amount of $1254.38, Ald. Weed moved to recommend approval of an agreement between Nutritional Program at the Denoon Senior Center. Seconded by Ald. the City and the Waukesha County Department of Aging for the Dumke. Motion carried. The minutes of the previous meeting held 12/3/80 were reviewed and placed on file. Correspondence from Mayor Gottfried to owners of adjacent property of Lot 7, Krogman's Subdivision was reviewed and placed on file The committee acknowledged receipt of a communication from the population count for the City of Muskego is 15,290. Same placed Bureau of Census, bJashington D. C. indicating the preliminary on file. The Finance Committee denied the request of Building Inspector Lee for permission to attend the University of Wisconsin Extension for 0 a two-day seminary on solar access zoning. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of a contract between 565's Cleaning Service for janitorial service for the City Hall-Library and the Police Department Building in the amount of $525 00 each per month. Seconded by Ald. Need. PIotion carried. Ald. Radtke moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned.
