MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 20, '1980
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 7 30 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members Weed, Dumke and Radtke, Ald.
Knudsen, City Clerk Stewart and LC. Zabel
The cornittee interviewed the following persons for Operator's
Licenses :

Gerald Vossekuil - Rory Mulholland - Melvin Serkowski
Ald. Radtke moved to recommend Council approval of the above listed
persons to have Operators Licenses, subject to receipt of favorable
police reports. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Ald. Radtke moved to reconimend the city's 1980 .capital budget be amended as follows :

The committee reviewed a comunication from City Clerk Stewart request-
ing that she be authorized to refund a $25 00 publication fee to Mr.
Thomas Berken. She indicated that Mr. Berken had withdram his petition
moved to grant the request. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
for a zoning change prior to any expenditures by the city. Ald. Weed
Ald. Dumke moved to authorize the City Clerk to amend the check reg-
ister so the department name and account number can be shown. Seconded
by Ald. Weed. Motion carried.
The cornittee reviewed a communication from Building Inspector Lee
advising him that an additional $75.00 should be charged the Romaine
Denk ,forced hookup. He indicated that the additional cost resulted
from the need to have the wzsking machine plumbing connected in order
to prevent illegal hookup. Ald Weed move d - to direct the City
Clerk-Comptroller to add $75.00 to the original quote of $1,575.00.
Seconded by AId. Radtke. Motion carried.
At the request of Ald. Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried will discuss the oper-
ation of Granny's TI Tavern with the license holder.
