FCM19800220FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 20, 1980 - / The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Acting Chairman Dumke. Also present were Committee Members Ford and Tomczyk. 8 The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's License: Robin Radtke Herman Klepp Ald. Ford moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for police report. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Robin Radtke and for Herman Klepp subject to receipt of favorable Animal Warden. Ald. Ford moved to recommend to pay the Animal The committee .discussed additional compensation for the city's Warden a fee of $4 00 per pickup,.plus 15~ per-mile. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried. The committee reviewed several offers to demolish the former police building. The committee directed Mayor Gottfried to exactly what their intent would be relating to the capping of contact Geyer Demolition and Henry R. Marohl, Inc. to determine the well, etc. The committee felt specifications were most important in the determinations of who would get the contract. Ald. Ford moved to authorize the use of 1980 capital budget funds in the amount of $647.50 to pay for a typewriter in the Building Inspection Office. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried. The committee acknowledged receipt of a communication from Ald Van Lanen relating to the use of the city hall copy machine. Same placed on file. The committee reviewed a comunication from the city's insurance carrier, Employer's Insurance of Wausau, indicating that the Muskego Athletic Association (MAA) could be included in the city's insurance program for an additional $500.00 per year. Ald Tomczyk moved to authorize the,Mayor to Place the MAA under the city's insurance program. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried The committee acknowledged receipt of a communication from Richard Bennett, owner of Big Muskego Gun Club, indicating that they will continue to follow the voluntary restrictions which were used in 1979. A communication from Parks & Recreation Director, Fred Baewer, requesting permission to order playground equipment, router, etc. at this time, items to be paid for when capital funds are acquired. Motion carried. Ald. Ford moved to grant the request. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M. 0 CY 0 RT/ j e
