0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 12, 1980
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 8.25 P.M..
Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Ford and Tomczyk.
The following individuals had been interviewed as Operator
applicants on February 6th

Ald. Ford moved to recommend approval of Operator's Licenses
for the above listed persons. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried.
Ald. Ford moved for the approval of operation of a Popcorn
Wagon in the City of Muskego for Donald Collins. Seconded by
Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
Ald. Tornczyk moved to recommend approval of a "Gathering" Permit
for St. Leonard's Home & School Association for March 9, 1980.
Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
The committee acknowledge a presentation presented by Business
Marketing Services regarding the possibility of the city
self-insurance in place of the present health and hospitalization
program.
Ald. Tomczyk reported that Mr. Fred Baewer has requested that an
additional $33.12 be allocated from the capital budget in order
that a previously approved record player can be purchased. He
further requested that an additional $100.00 be provided the
Parks & Recreation Department for additional purchase of supplies
for the Arts & Crafts Program. The committee noted that monies
from the Park & Recreation Capital Budget will probably be
available to cover the additional cost of the record player. They
further noted that the additional $100.00 required for Arts &
Crafts would be reimbursed to the city by citizens registering for
the program. Ald. Tomczyk moved to approve the inter-department
purchased by the Parks & Recreation Department. Seconded by
transfer of 33.12 towards the payment of a record player to be
Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend to the Common Council the transfer
of $100.00 from the Contingency Funds in order that additional
supplies can be purchased for the Arts & Crafts Program. Seconded
by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk advised the committee that Chief Scholz appeared on
Chief's Mid-Western Training Course on February 26, 27 and 28, 1980

The committee reviewed a communication from the Treasurer's
Office suggesting that uncollectible rescue bills from 1969
most cases the balance was due to the refusal of the Medical
Assistance Program to pay full charges. They also noted that
many of the other charges are against individuals. who are
recommend to the Common Council that uncollectible rescue
deceased or have moved from the city. Ald. Dumke moved to
service bills from 1969 to 1972 in the amount of $4,528.08
