FCM19790911FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO ~ 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 5, 1979 The meeting was called to order at 7.05 by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Durnke and Tornczyk, Chief Scholz. The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's Licenses Jeffrey Horning Marcia Chic Barbara Wadzinski Warren Osborn Wayne Wardin Jill Emmett Aid. Tomczyk moved to recommend Council approval of the above listed persons. Seconded by Ald. Durnke. Motion carried. The committee reviewed general vouchers totaling $142,576.18. Of particular concern was the ~payrnent to Super Excavators,- Inc;, because of the restoration which must still be completed in the the Lake Denoon area. Ald. Tomczyk moved to approve the vouchers in the amount of $142,576 18 subject to a.review of Voucher No. 4886 to Super Excavators, Inc. by the Mayor. Seconded by Ald. - Dumke. Motion carried, Police Chief Scholz appeared before the committee to discuss the policy to be followed -in the -event an officer'.s .prescription sun - glasses- are lost or broken while.he is on duty.. The committee did review with Chief Scholz the provisions. regarding this matter set forth in^ the contract between the city and the Teamsters. It was the decision of the committee to defer action in order that an opinion-can be obtained from. Attorney John Swain.
