MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 16, 1979
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 7:30 P.M.
Also present were committee members Dumke, Ford and Tomczyk.
There were also many residents from the area around the Heads Up
tavern present.
Mayor Gottfried reviewed for the comittee and audience the process
required by state law when revocation of a tavern license is being
considered. He compared this to the process which must be followed when non-renewal of a license is being considered.
Mayor Gottfried indicated that in order for the Finance Committee
to decide whether or not to recomend revocation or non-renewal
or to take no action, the report of the Police Department would
be heard by the committee, as well as Mr. Oschmann or his attorney
and anyone else in the audience who wishes to be heard regarding
the matter.
The mayor read a recommendation from Police Chief Scholz that
the license presently held by Mr. Steve Oschmann for the Heads
Up tavern be either revoked or not renewed. He also.highlighted

The committee reviewed a request from Police Chief Scholz that
he be permitted to attend the International Association of Chief
of Police Conference to be held in Dallas, Texas. The estimated

Council approval of a lease agreement for the pistol range with

tion Board regarding a change in the capital budget spending.
Mayor Gottfried expalined that because of lack of funds the only
program approved for Lawcon funding was the Bluhm Farm Baseball
Complex. As a result, the Parks and Recreation Board would like
to re-evaluate t.heir plans for 1979. Mayor Gottfried further
explained that monies would probably be taken from other projects
indicated that the Parks and Recreation Director will prepare a

The committee also reviewed a request from the Parks and Recreation
Board to transfer from the Contingency Fund $3,103.16 in order

Mayor Gottfried advised the committee that since a voluntary
spraying of weed:s and algae will take place on Little Muskego
Lake, the City would probably want to get involved since they own
