MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 18, 1979
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by ChainJan Gottfried.
Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Ford. Ald Weed was
also present.
Mrs. Agnes Schkeryants appeared to apply for a Class "B" Fermented
Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for the former "Bob
and Sissy's Tavern" located st Kelsey Drive and Racine Ave. Ald.
Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of the above application
subject to the expiration of the necessary advertising period
Seccnded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License:

Ald Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of the above listed
Police Dept. Reports. Seconded by Ald Ford. Motion carried.

Pizza Hut (.Donna Pastron). Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
Mr. Fred Baewer, Parks,& Recreation Director, appeared at the meeting
Lacrosse Internship Program. Also, the hiring of two "special
to discuss his request for his department to be a site for the UW-
project" CETA personnel to work in the parks this coming summer.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve Mr Baewer's request. Seconded by Ald.
Ford Motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of payment of vouchers
in the amount of $499,289 07. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
The committee acknowledge receipt of $54,637.97 state transportation
aids from the Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation.
The comittce acknowledged receipt of $20,834.29 in State M & E
aids from the State of Wisconsin.

The committee acknowledged receipt of a claim from Mr. Fred Layman,
$130.00 and a claim from Attorney John Couture in the amount of
$15,000.00. The committee xi11 request an explanation, in writing,
fr.om Chief Scholz regarding this matter.
Ald. Ford moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dcmke. Motion carried.
