MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 7, 1978
The meeting was called to order at 8 00 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried.
Also present were Aldermen Ford, Dumke and Schaumberg.
Mr. A1 Meinen, Sr. , appeared to request a Class "B" Fermented Malt
Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for the Black Duck Inn (pres-
ently held by Paul Bukovic). Ald. Ford moved to recommend Council
approval of same, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's License'
Mrs. Kathryn Busch
Cindy Dombrowski
Michael Busch,
Susan Busch
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for Susan
Busch, Mrs. Kathryn Busch and Cindy Dombrowski and for Michael Busch
subject to receipt of favorable fingerprint report. Seconded by Ald.
Ford, motion carried.
Several members of the Edward Buck family appeared to discuss with the
committee their request to rent the recently vacated police station
until construction of their new home is complete. The committee noted
that the Buck's request for a mother-in-law unit had been approved by
the Plan Commission and that the old home would be razed. Ald. Ford
moved to recommend to the Common Council that the City Attorney be
directed to draft a rental agreement which would provide for a six-
month lease in the amount of $150.00 per month. Seconded by Ald
Schaumberg, motion carried. Mr. and Mrs. Rutzen stated that they would
be willing to provide the city with proof of their financial ability to
construct a new home.
Mr. Bill Nay, representing the Little Muskego Lake Association, appeared
to request the city to waive fees for a "Gathering" License they need
at Horn Field He indicated there were 19 dates and that it would
in order to provide malt beverages at the Lake 0 Lakes baseball games
cost them $38.00 and the soda license would cost an additional $5.00.
In discussing the matter with Mr. Nay it was noted that the city had
never waived fees for "Gathering" Permits and they would be hesitant
to establish a precedent in spite of the fact that the efforts of the
Little Muskego Lake Association was for a worthycause. It was the
committee's decision not to recommend to the Council the waiving of
the fees.
Lt. Scholz appeared before the committee to request permission to
hire White Wing Janitorial Services bi-weekly until the recently
authorized parttime position of custodian can be hired. Ald. Dumke
moved to approve the request. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
The committee reviewed the applicants for Class "B" Fermented Malt
moved to recommend approval of all of the applicants except that of
Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor Licenses in the city. Ald. Ford
Lakeview Gardens on Lannon Drive. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
Ald. Ford moved to recommend Council approval of Trap Licenses for
Julius Caesar, Hunter's Nest Black Duck Gun Club, Inc., and Richard
Club, Paul Bukovic, President. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion
Bennett and for a Trap and Rifle License for Schultz's Rod and Gun
carried.
Ald. Ford moved to recommend Swimming Beach and Waterway Marker
Permits for Daniel P. Amann, Willard Masterson, Donald Dixon and for
Eldorado Retreat, Inc., John Gavin Agent. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg,
motion carried.

*- The committee acknowledged refund in the amount of $1,496.00 from
Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, the reason being no loss of
life payments have ever been made.
The committee acknowledged notification from the State of Wisconsin
that.$15,359.49 has been paid to the Little Muskego Lake Protection
and Rehabilitation District for federal demonstration project.
The committee disussd the salary paid to Jean Sanders for her clerical
work in the Assessor's Office. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend
to the Common Council that they establish the salary of $4.64 per hr.
Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.

The committee discussed public liability insurance. Ald. Dumke moved
to have Mayor Gottfried to contact the National League of Cities for
more details on this subject.
The committee reviewed general vouchers in the amount of $188,466.89.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Ford moved to recommend Council approval of payment of same.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg and carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9~15 P.M.
