FCM19780504FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY.4, 1978 The meeting was called to order at 7:lO P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present yere Committee Members Dumke, Schaumberg and Fo,Sd, City Clerk Bowyer, Lt. Schqlz and Police Chief Kraus. The minutes of the meeting held April 19, 1978, were reviewed and placed on file. Mrs. Bowyer presented the committee with additional information to help them consider the question of whether or not the highway department employees have approximately $40.00 due them from 1975. Mrs. Bowyer's calculations substantiated each of their claims. The committee noted that both Mr. John Loughney's calculations pnd Mrs. Bowyer will provide'the committee with a payoff schedule for the entire year of 1975 to substantiate her calculaFion of retroactive pay. The committee reviewed a claim from Loretta Yanny regarding lost lot line stakes duriFg the con'struction of sewers in 1971. The matter was referred to the Sewer Committee. The committee reviewed a request from the MI11 Valley PTO for permission to use the city's equipment for preparatipn of a mailer. Ald. Ford moved to deny the request on the basis that it has been a city policy not $0 permit outside organizations to use any city equlpmeqt. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg. Motion carried. Mrs. Jean Sanders appeared before the cowittee to request a directory board which could be placed at the entrance,to city hall. She indicated the cost would be $140.00 plus $7.50 for the needed letters. Ald. Schaumberk moved to place the item in the 1978 capital budget. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried. Lt. Scholz and Chief Kraus appeared before the committee to discuss police station, Lt.
