FCM19780308FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 8, 1978 The meeting was called to order at 7.40 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were committee members Schaumberg, Ford and Dumke, Police Chief Kraus, Mrs. Van Lanen and Mrs. Heckert. The following persons appeared for Operator's License in behalf of the Pizza Hut on Janesville Road. Michael J. Carney, Agent - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin Linda Gleason - Milwaukee, Wisconsin Stephen Kaul - West Bend, Wisconsin David LaRoach - Milwaukee, Wisconsin Ald. Ford moved to recommend approval of Operator's Licenses for the above 1isted.persons subject.,toireceipt:of -favorable fingerprint reports;-- ~~ Seconded by-Ald:!Dumke, motionJcarried: 1 The committee-discussed Mr. ~Phillip Dibb's objections to paying $25700. - as a special-assessment .for .the-.cutting of weeds on his property in Bay Lawn Subdivision. Ald. Schaumberg advised the committee that Supt. Bertram reported that the weeds were cut prior to July 1, 1977, however, he could not provide them with the exact date. Police Chief Kraus appeared at the meeting to request permission to Ald. Ford moved to approve the request in the amount of $77.70, seconded have Officer Meeks attend an Advanced Police Artist's Session at W.C.T I. by Ald. Schaumberg. Motion carried. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of a one-year maintenance offset machine in the amount of $354.00. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion agreement between the Robertson Company and the City of Muskego for the carried. Mayor Gottfried advised the committee that several floor tiles in the men's room had become loose. The committee authorized the House of Tile to make the necessary repairs at a cost of $81.00. " Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend a refund of the $25.00 special assess- The committee reviewed a statement from David Schreiber & Associates in the amount of $242.25 covering the cost of their work in the prepar- ation of the Civic Center Master Plan. Mayor Gottfried suggested that since the Plan Commission had requested the development of the plan Bicentennial Park they should be charged for that work. The committee reviewed requests from Park and Recreation Director Steve Pischke for two additional personnel, Recreation Supervisor I and Park Maintenance Person 11. Ald. Ford moved to grant the request for a Recreation Supervisor I. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg.
