MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 7, 1977
The meeting was called to order at 8:.00 P.M. Present were Committee
blembers Schaumberg, Dumke and Ford, Police Chief Kraus and Ald. Wallnef.
James R. Young appeared to apply for Operators License. Aid. Schaumberg
moved to recommend Council approval of said application. Seco'nded by I, Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Chief Kraus appeared at the meeting to request Council approval to
advertise for bids for five new squad,cars. Ald. Ford moved to grant
the request. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Mr. Steve Pischke, Director of Park &'Recreation Department, appeared
at the meeting to request the following transfers in his 1977 budget:

Ald. Ford moved to grant Mr. Pischkeia request to transfer the Bbove funds within the Park & Recreation 1977 budget. Seconded by Ald.
Schaumberg, motion carried. I'
Miss Kathy Horton, City Librarian, appeared before the committee to
discuss a proposal to purchase a, security system for the Library.,.
She provided the committee with a ,poet analysis which totals $6,175.00
as well as a summary of material missing after an inventory was
recently taken. She indicated the missing materials had a value of
approximately $2,700.00. Ald. Schaumberg moved to defer action on
this matter until the next meeting! of the committee. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
The committee reviewed three applications for employment., Same placed
on file.
The committee reviewed the proposed Blue-Cross - Blue Shield contract
tract. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.

St. Leonard's Home and School for December 31, 1977. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
