The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 7.30 P.M.
Also present were committee members Schaumberg and Dumke

Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of the above applicants.
Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of a "Gathering" License for
the Muskego Moose Lodge #lo57 .for January 29,~.1977, at.Idle Isle. Seconded
by .Ald..:Dumke, motion carried.
Ald..Schaumberg moved to a-ecommend.approva1 of payment of general
vouchers--in the amount of $303,937.68; Seconded by Ald. Dumke:, motion
carried. -
A1d:Dumke~ moved to recommend payment :of. sewer utility vouchers in the
amount of $8,771:73. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. 0- Ald. Schaurnberg moved to grant permission for the Clerk-Comptroller to
wrlte off the $15.00 paid by Richard Bennett which was taken from Mrs.
Marenda's- desk several weeks-ago. Seconded ~by.-Ald.~ Dumke; motion carried.

Mayor Gottfried advised the.committee.tbat -Allan Shackleton of Lincoln.
National Life Insurance Company has submitted a new cost figure for life
insurance whick-is very close-.to that .offer by the state and.further-~
that the city-will receive a refund of -approximately~ $1300 at-the
close of 1977. The committee noted that since the state insurance is
presently receiving life insurance would not be eligible. On that
only open to those cowEdunder a retirement program a few employees
basis the committee agreed with Mayor Gottfriedk decision not to join
the state's life insurance program.
The committee reviewed a voucher (#9612) written to the Electric Company
Ald. Durnke moved to approve the voucher. Seconded by Ald. Scbaumberg,
in the amount of $1,095.00 for the relocation of a pole at Horn Field.
motion carried.
The committee acknowledged receipt of a communication from Building
Inspector Lee requesting that five days of vacation due -him in 1977
be transferred to January, 1978. Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve the

request. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee reviewed a request from the Assessor's Office that a new
account be established within his budget to identify professional services
He further requested that the balances in conventions and .conferences
and Board of Review be transferred to the new account. Ald. Schaumberg
moved to authorize the Clerk to createa new account in the Assessor's
budget and identify it as "Professional Services" with a code number
of 504.015 and further that $46.50 presently in Account No. 504.0160,
Board of Review,be transferred to the new account. Seconded by Ald.

The committee reviewed a communication from Building Inspector Lee's
off.ice advising .the committee that-he will-be-$66.00 short in his
capital budget in 1977 and requested that amount be transferred from
Capital Budget Contingency to his capital budget. Ald. Dumke moved
Capital Budget Cont~ingency to -the Building Inspection capital budget.
to recommend to the Common Council that $66.00 be transferred from
