MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 3, 1976
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 7:45.P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy and Schaumberg.
Mr. Adrian Schmidt appeared at the.meeting to apply for Operators License.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval of same for Adrian Scbtdt
subject to receipt of favorable Fingerprint Report. Seconded by Ald.
Schaumberg, motion carried.
The conunittee discussed at length the Council's decision to hire an
appraidpk in preparation for the possible purchase of the Lamb propercy
located in the vicinity of Gold Dr. and College Avenue. It was noted that
several aldermen had indicated they would like the Council to review the
matter once.more. Ald. Schaumberg move, seconded by Ald. Foldy, to submit
the question to the Cmon Council for reaffirmation. Motion carried.
The need for continuing the maintenance of city hall-library grounds by
an outside contractor was discussed. The committee will contact several
landscapers for quotes.
Ald. Foldy moved to recomyend Council approval of a contract between the
city and the 3M Business Products Salq,Inc. whereby they would provide
copy machine in city hall in the amount of $80.00 per month. Seconded
by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The committee wTll invite a member of the Bicentennial Committee to a
future meeting to discuss their need for additional funding.
The committee reviewed the offer of settlement received from attorneys
for Mr. Joe Vesbach in the amount of $400.00 plus defendant's costs. The
matter was deferred to thexext meeting.
Ald. Foldy moved to adjozrn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
