MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 7, 1976
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 8:OO P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Schaumberg and Dumke.
-Yr. David Saari of New Berlin appeared to apply for an Operator's License
and Mr. James Hagenkord appeared regarding his request for an Operator's
License. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of an Operators License
for David Saari, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The following bids for five new 1976 model squad cars were reviewed:

Ald. Dumke moved to recommend to the Common Council acceptance of the
Schaumberg, motion carried.
The Finance Committee acknowledged receipt of a grievance from the MPPA
regarding the movement of officers based on seniority.
Mayor Gottfried reviewed with the committee the insurance program for
the city and reported that Sentry Insurance Co. had indicated a very
substantial increase in the liability insurance premium. He further
indicated that a quote on the similar coverage had been received from
Employers of Wausau and that a binder had been given by the insurance
company. It was the committee's decision, if feasible, to cancel all
insurance held by Sentry Insurance Co. and to attempt to get quotes
from other companies.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
