0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 5, 1975
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:40 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke and Foldy.
Mr. Ed Zidar appeared at the meeting to complain that certain forced
hook-ups contracted by the city were not done according to State Code.
Specifically, he cited the Hacker, Carter and Nuber residences in the
*Fountainwood area. Complaint to be reviewed with Tnspection Department.
Darlene McCarthy, Lakeview Drive, Wind Lake, appeared to apply for an
Operators License. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of Operators
License for Darlene McCarthy. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Application for Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor
License indicating new officers of Clifford's Food Service, Inc. was
received by the comittee.
Application for a "Gathering" License for St. Leonard's Parish, Westwood
Drive, for November 15, 1975, was received.
Application for a "Gathering" License for St. Leonard's Home and School
or December 31, 1975, was received.
Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of the above three applications.
Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Correspondence from Attorney BuckTey regarding claim from Harold DeBack
was reviewed and placed on file.
Correspondence from Police Chief Kraus was received requesting permission
to hire a new officer, Richard A. Koch, Bend Rd., Waukesha, on a lateral
basis to the second step of the pay schedulq ($11,628.00) as a patrolman.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion
carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve the following transfers: $300.00 from Acct.
#520.0130, Auto Allowance-Police and $200.00,from Acct. #520.0160, Conf. & Conventions~-Police to Acqount 11520.0490 Training & Recruitment. Sec-
onded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
The proposed 1976 General Budget was reviewed and $15,000.00 was added
to the Police Department Budget for the purchase of new squad cars. This
amount had been removed from the 1976 Capital Budget. The additional d 15,000.00 was made possible by reducing the Contingency Account by $5,000.00,
y increasing estimated federal revenue sharing by $5,000.00 and taking
$5,000.00 from Unappropriated Surplus. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend
approval of the above adjustment. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried. The
meeting adjourned at 9:OO P.M.
