FCM19750917FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 17, 1975 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 7:40 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Foldy, Schaumberg and Dumke and City Clerk Bowyer. The following persons appeared to apply for Operators Licenses: Gerald Reinhardt - 4970 Menard Dr., New Berlin, Wis. Karen Haber - 1625 S. 82nd St., West Allis, Wis. 0. Ald. Foldy mwed to recommend approval of Operators License for Karen Haber and for Gerald Reinhardt, pending receipt of favorable fingerprint report. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of "Gathering" Permit for Icetronauts Snowmobile Club for September 27, 1975, on the Muehl farm at the corner of Racine. Ave. and Woods Road. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. The committee received a request from Mr. William Schultz to have the city return all or a portion of money paid for Lot 11, Block 16, Fountainwood 3rd Addition, since it was discovered poor soil conditions exist on the lot. Ald. Foldy moved that Mayor Gottfried be authorized to offer a refund of $2,000.00 to Mr. Schultz, thus making the sale price of the lot $5,500.00, or a total refund for the entire amount of $7500.00. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. The Finance Committee will meet on Monday, September 29th at 8:OO P.M. with the Bicentennial Committee to discuss possible locations of the Bicentennial Park. Ald. Schaumberg moved that $250.00 be transferred from Account #580.046, Stationery & Office Supplies, to Account #580.048, Other Expenses & Supplies, to cover unexpected increases in membership fees for several Library associations and late billing for 1974 fees. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend Council approval of offer from John Lang in the amount of $1,100.00 for Lot 7 (Property Tax Key ik2193.051) Krognan's Subdivision. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Mr. Seegar Swanson of Ehlers & Associates Bppeared at the meeting to discuss the financial status of the city's sewer utility and future plans for capital spending. Budgets for 1976 from all department6 were received and acknowledged. Ald. Foldy moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
