MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 5, 1975
The meeting was called tD order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy, Dumke and Schaumberg.
The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's Licenses:
Peter Krizmanitz - S67 W13297 Fennimore Ln., Muskego
Ronald Lenmner - S86 W21693 Janesville Road, Muskego
John Schulz - W191 56417 Hillendale Drive, Muskego
Mr. Lloyd Ham appeared at the meeting to apply for a Class "B" Fermented
Male Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for S76 W17957 Janesville
Road. License to be held in partnership with Hal Hubbard.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of Operator's Licenses
for Peter Krizmanitz, Ronald Lemmer and John Schulz. Seconded by Ald.
Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend Council approval of Class I'B"
Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Lloyd Ham
and Hal Hubbard, as partners, for S76 W17957 Janesville Road. Seconded
by Ald. Dmke, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval for Gerald Schwartz, W205
S6617 Tans Drive to operate a popcorn wagon in the City of Muskego
(former Lundin License). Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Mr. Carl Wauer appeared before the Finance Coamittee to ask consideration
of his request that a referendum be placed on the April 1st ballot
regarding industrial revenue bonds for his recently reconstructed plant.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend to the Common Council that the Clerk be
directed to place the question of providing industrial revenue bonds
to Mr. Carl Wauer for his recently completed building program before
the electorate. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg,motion carried.
The committee reviewed City Attorney's monthly report for February.
The committee received a communication from the Muskego Professional
Policeman's Association stating that Billy Meeks is now President
.of the organization.
The committee received a letter from Mr. Merle Baker, representative
of the Teamsters Local #695 advising the city that he would act as the
arbitrator for the police department as it relates to the recent
grievance for overtime pay for report in time which was recently denied
by the Council. Mayor Gottfried to act as arbitrator for the city and
Attorney Roger Walsh to act as advisor.
Mr. Charles Gilbertson, W185 S9086 Racine Avenue, requested refund in
the amount of $30.00 special assessment on his real estate taxes. Assess-
ment was for rescue charge, however, in accordance with city policy, no
charge is made to the taxpayer when a conveyance to the hospital does
not take place. Ald. Schuamberg moved to waive the charge, seconded
Ilr by Ald. &mke, motion carried.
The committee discussed Joseph Vesbach's claim for damage to soy bean
crop by the firm doing soil borings in the industrial park. It was the
decision of the committee to recommend reimbursement to Mr. Vesbach the
amount of $108.00 based on information offered by the Waukesha County 0 Agri-Business Agent.
Discussion was held regarding Resolution 826-75, entitled, Requesting
Permission for All Aldermen -to .Attend Negotiating Sessions. It was

agreed that the conrmittee would urge the Council to defeat the
proposition: Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval to
have the city's negotiating committee consist of the Mayor, one
member of the Finance Committee and the city's paid negotiator,
Roger Walsh, and that one observer from the Council may attend.
Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The Finance Committee met with representatives of the Highway a Department to negotiate 1975 salaries and benefits.

carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:40 P.M.
