0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 7, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Foldy and Schaumberg.
The following persons appeared at the meeting to apply for Operator's
Licenses :

Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of Operator's License for Claudette
Zsido, Holly Naton, Edward Saffert, Gordon Shafer, William Gnat and Robert
Tobianski. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved for the approval of "Gathering" Permit for Icetronauts
Snowmobile Club for October 6, 1974 and for Lembezeder-Cook VFW Post 8171
for August 23, 24, & 25, 1974 and for St. Leonard's for August 18, 1974.
Secorded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
It was the committee's decision to recommend that the Council table
Resolution #161-74 and that accumulated compensatory time be used before
December 3 I, 1974.
The city has received communication from the State of Wisconsin indicating
that the estimated population for the City of Muskego is now 12,678.
Communication placed on file.
Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of payment of vouchers in the amount
$27,436.03 to Garsky Construction Go. for installation of storm sewer in
Center Drive. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of Dump Refuse Hauling Permit
for United Waste, Waste Management, Best Disposal, Thomas Disposal and
Town and Country Disposal. Seconded by Ald. Durnke, motion carried.
The committee is recommending to Council the adoption of a resolution
establishing salaries for Highway Foreman and for Jean Sanders when she
works for the Assessor.
The committee discussed a proposal from the Pewaukee Police Department
that would authorize the purchase of squad cars on a county-wide basis.
Following discussion it was the committee's decision not to concur with
this proposal.
Mayor Gottfried reported that the grievance filed by city hall-library
employees has been resolved.
The committee received notification that the pending lawsuit Greg Koeferl
vs. The City of Muskego, Case #29651 is scheduled for trial on November
26,1974 at 9:00 A.M. in Room 255 of the Waukesha County Court House.
Notification received from the State of Wisconsin that City has received
$258,771.91 in shared taxes.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend to Common Council that the city make an
vicinity of Lochcrest Blvd. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.

It was the conunittee's decision that the request for correction of
retroactive pay to Deputy Inspector Dan Nowak be approved.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
