MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 17, 1974
he meeting was called to ord,er by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were
ldermen Foldy, Schaumberg and Dude.
The following persons appeared to apply for Operators Licenses:

Ald. Schaumberg moved to rec'bdapproval of Operators License for Dale Sokolowski
and George Callies. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved, to recommend approval of Operators License for Kenneth
Nitka and Richard Zur subject to receipt of favorable Medical Reports.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of a Dump Refuse Hauling Permit
for Robwct Moeller & Sons. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
A representative of V.F.W. appeared at the meeting requesting aid for
fireworks and parade for Country Fair Days.
olice Chief Kraus appeared at the meeting regarding a time schedule for a
new police building.
It was the decision of the Finance Connnittee that they can no longer approve
payment of any bills incurred by city departments unless proper purchase order
numbers are shown on the bill and a copy of the properly executed purchase
order attached.
The connnittee received notice of $13,415.00 received in revenue sharing from
the federal government.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend approval of payment of general vouchers in the
amount of $159,986.31. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved for the approval of payment of sewer utility vouchers in the
amount of $6,812.97 payable 7/23/74. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend denial of claim from Muskego Industrial
carried.
@Park, Inc. in the amount of $318,770.00. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion
The committee directed Mayor Gottfried to continue to advertise the city
ewned lots in the Fountainwood Subdivision for sale.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend approval of "Gathering" Licenses for the Muskego
Professional Policeman's Association for August llth, for St. Paul's Lutheran
Church for August 4th and for Muskego Athletic Association for August 4th.
Seconded by Ald. Dude, motion carried.
a Id. Foldy moved to recommend approval of a request by the Lake Riders of
skego to consume fermented malt beverages in Jensen Park. Seconded. by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved, seconded by Ald. Dumke, to forward a sample ordinance -
regarding temporary operators licenses to Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee.

Aid. Schaumberg moved to recommend, to the Common Council approval of
several changes in the present contract between the city and the Police
Department dispatchers and. the city hall and library employees and to
approve of several changes in the salary and benefits for the Public
Works Department. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved, seconded by Ald. Dumke to recomend approval of one
additional officer for Police Department. Motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved, seconded by Ald.. Dumke, to transfer $400.00 from
Contingency Fund to Acct. ll602.045, Miscellaneous, to help offset expenses
for V.F.W. Parade. Motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval of a resolution approving
industrial revenue bonds for Muskego Rendering Company subject to review
and approval of City Attorney. Second by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The
meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
