FCM19740703FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 3, 1974 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen :Edwin Dumke and Paul Schaumberg. The following persons appeared at the meeting to apply for Operator's Licenses : e Kathleen Kaiser 10525 W. Greenfield Ave., Milwaukee Diane M. O'Leary 1616 S. Conrad Pl., New Berlin Donald C. Beaumont 216 W. College Ave., Waukesha John Winter 5577 Balsom Ct.,,Greendale, Wis. Leo J. Pilak W149 S6490 Spring Dr., Muskego Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of Operators Licenses for Kathleen Kaiser, Diane O'Leary, Donald Beaumont, John Winter and Leo Pilak. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to establish a fee of .25c for the recently printed street maps. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. The committee received and reviewed a notice from Teamsters Union Local #695 regarding negotiations for 1975 contract. Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Dumke, to recommend approval of Junk License for James Kohne and Jack Glockner. Motion carried. The minutes of the last meeting are to be corrected regarding Chief Kraus's request to attend the FBI Academy July 29th to August 2, 1974. The expenses are paid by the F.B.I. Ald. Dumke moved to approve the request. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. The Finance Committee reaffirmed the city's policy to provide safety glasses- to the Public Works Department if they are broken while on duty. A replace- ment will not be made however in the event of loss. Ald. Schaumberg moved to accept the offer of Liban's Lawn Service, New Berlin, for grounds maintenance for city hall and library. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:35 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Paul Schaumberg, Sec'y.
