MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 2, 1974
0 The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Foldy, Schaumberg and Knudsen.
The following persons applied for Operator's Licenses:
Marilyn Popp, Box 13, Waterford, Wis.
Richard M. Knudsen, W193 S6853 Hillendale Dr., Muskego * Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of an Operator's License for Marilyn
Popp. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval of the low quotation of
Scopp Electric Co. in the amount of $4,969.00 for installation of lighting
for the city hall - library parking lot. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved that the annual salary for the Municipal Justice be
established at $1200.00.as per his request. -
Ald. Schaumberg moved that the salary range for the Librarian be as
follows: $8,000.00 to start, $8,500.00 at 6 mos. and $9,000.00 at 18 mos.

Ald. Foldv moved that a temDorarv Darttime Dosition of Advisor to the

Library be established at a'salaiy'of $3.60'per hr. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried. Position to average approximately 15 hrs. per week.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend that the low quotation of Thomas Felton in
the amount of $280.00 for electrical work to be done in city hall basement
be accepted with the condition that the work is to be completed within
60 days from the date the contract is awarded. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.

The city has received $388,686.20 as a partial distribution of State Aids.
Mayor Gottfried reported that the request for a grant under the Community
Development Program is being reviewed by the State.
Quotations from Sentry Insurance Co. and Employers Insurance of Wausau
were reviewed. Action was deferred pending a report from the Lukes
Brock Company.
A copy of the fee schedule from City Attorney Buckley was reviewed by the
committee.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
