0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 5, 1973
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gottfried at 8:OO P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy, Schaumberg,Dumke and Knudsen.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operators License:
Barbara Lovald - W176 S6999 Wildwood Dr.
Jerome Brzeski - W152 57709 Mystic Dr.
James Surprise - 158 North 68th St., Milwaukee e
Mrs. Yvonne A. Bode, S6835 W180 Muskego Drive, appeared to apply for a
Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for
"Trap 9" formerly operated by Thomas Brass.
Ald. Dumke moved to recmend approval of Operators Licenses for Barbara
Lovald and Jerome Brzeski. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recmend approval of Operators License for James
Surprise subject to receipt of favorable physical form. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend approval of Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage
and Intoxicating Liquor License for Yvonne A. Bode subject to receipt of
Motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of a "Gathering" License for
Lembezeder-Cook VFW Post #8171 for September 8, 9, 15 & 16, 1973, and
for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Muskego Volunteer Fire Co. for October 20,
1973. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Mr. Seegar Swanson appeared at the meeting to discuss the need to consider
borrowing monies to aesure completion of our capital improvement programs
for 1973 as well as 1974.
Discussion was held regarding the filling of the vacant position of
Bookkeeper-Clerk. Ald. Foldy moved to appoint Rosemary Stoecker to the
position of Bookkeeper-Clerk effective September 24, 1973. Seconded
by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Since the appointment of Rosemary Stoecker to the position as Bookkeeper-
Clerk created a vacancy to the position of Utility Clerk, Ald. Schaumberg
moved, as seconded by Ald. Dumke, to appoint Cindy Thode to the position
of Utility Clerk effective September 24, 1973. Motion carried.
0 statement of relinquishment from Thomas Brass. Seconded by Ald. Dumke.
A copy of a communication was received from City Attorney John Buckley
directed to Assistant City Attorney Joe Wimmer, dated 9/4/73, advising
Mr. Wimmer of his intent to replace him as Assistant City Attorney. Ald.
Foldy moved as seconded by Ald. Dumke, that the Mayor be directed to write
to City Attorney Buckley concerning his action.
The application of Schallert's Muskego Liquor, Inc. for a Class "A" (beer
depot) license to operate a beer depot in the Parkland Plaza Mall was
discussed. Ald. Foldy moved to recomend that the Council grant a Class "A"
License to Schallert's, Muskego Liquor Inc. for the Parkland Plaza Shopping
Center. The motion lost for lack of a second. Ald. Dumke moved to submit
the request of Schallerts, Muskego Liquor Inc. for a Class "A" Liquor License
in the Parkland Plaza Mall Shopping Center to the Council without recomend-
ation. Seconded by Ald. Foldy. Motion carried with Ald. Schaumberg voting

Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Foldy. Motion carried.
