MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 8.1973
The meeting was called to order at 8:OO P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy, Schaumberg and Dumke.
The following persons appeared at the meeting to apply for Operators
Licenses:
Roman Banaszak - RR#2 Box 130, Mukwonago, Wis.
Clarence Olson - 934 S. 30th St., Milwaukee, Wis.
Thomas Parhan - S102 W19720 Kelsey Dr., Muskego, Wis.
Robert Sorensen - W166 S8362 Kurtze Lane, Muskego, Wis.
Norman Holtz - W165 S7462 Bellview Dr., Muskego. Wis.
Gregory Price - 1025 S. 18th St., Milwaukee, Wis.
Sharon Seidler - 17910 S. Windlake Rd., Windlake, Wis.
Frank Kogelmann - 5305 N. 74th St., Milwaukee, Wis.
Mr. Emmett Mather appeared to apply for a Class "B" Fermented Malt
No action taken.
Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for W180 S7881 (Matt 6 Kitty's)
Mr. Jack Bishoff, Milwaukee, appeared to re-submit his application
for a Class "A" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License
transfer to Parkland Shopping Center. Ald. Schaumberg moved to defer
action, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Application for Trap Shoot Permit for Moose Lodge was reviewed. Ald.
Foldy moved to defer action pending additional information as to hours
of operation, location, etc. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to defer action on the Operators Application of
motion carried.
Frank Kogelmann pending further investigation. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
The 40-hour work week in city hall and library was discussed.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval of Operators Licenses
Gregory Price, Norman Holtz and Sharon Seidler. Seconded by Ald.
for Clarence Olson, Roman Banaszak, Robert Sorensen, Thomas Parhan,
Dumke, motion carried.
Application for Class "A" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating
Liquor License was received by Thomas Felton and John Blasius. Ald.
Schaumberg moved to defer action on this matter, seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved for the approval of a "Gathering" License for Muskego
Athletic Association for August 11,1973 and for Lembezeder - Cook VFW
Post 88171 for August 24.25. and 26. 1973. Seconded by Ald. Dumke.
motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved, as seconded by Ald. Dumke to refund $175.00 earnest
money to Earnest Sobczak for lot in the Industrial Park. Motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to grant request of the Muskego Volunteer Fire
Department for food expense in the amount of $357.30 during the sand-
bagging operation. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend.to_Common Council Jean Sanders be
paid $3.14 for her parttime work for the City Assessor. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved for adjournment, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
The Committee received notifications that the City has received
$305,000.00 State Aids.
