FCM19730516FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 16, 1973 The meeting was called to order at 8:05 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Foldy, Schaumberg and Knudsen. The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed, approved and placed on file. Kathleen Nichols, 11029 W. 11029 W. Wildwood Lane, West Allis, appeared to a.pply for an Operators License. Clyde Scott, 449 Adeline Dr., Franksville, appeared to apply for an Operators License. Janet L. Stuedemann, W170 S7188 Meadow Dr., Muskego, appeared to apply for an Operators License. Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve Operators Licenses for Clyde Scott, Janet Stuedemann and Kathleen Nichols. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried. Ald. Foldy moved to recommend approval of Class “A“ Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor Licenses as per the attached list. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Foldy, to recommend approval of Class “Bl’ Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor Licenses as per the attached list. Motion carried. Ald. Foldy moved, as seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, to recommend approval Swimming Beach Permits for Denoon Beach, Inc., Aud Mar, Daniel P. Amann and Judith and Robert Klenz. Motion carried. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend Council approval of payment of general vouchers in the amount of $175,765.77 which included a payment of $6,000.00 to J & A Excavating for additional mulching in Industrial Park. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend to Common Council that the possession of Committee Clerk be established at a wage rate of $1.60 per hours and that the needed funds be appropriated from the General Fund. Sec- onded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried. The committee reviewed a letter to be sent to all employees regarding vacation schedules and leaves of absence. Waukesha Co. Dept. of Personnel has advised the city they have been 0 allocated $27,000.00 under the Emergency Employment Act. The City has received $17,961.00 from the Dept. of Natural Resources for the Oxidation system at the NW treatment plant. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Foldy that the request for the use of the lower room of city hall by the Waukesha Co. Beat. of Public Health for Immunization Clinic and Community Family Health Conference. ,be granted. Motion carried. Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council adoption of resolution requiring payment of delinquent taxes prior to issuance of Class “A” and “B” Fer- mented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor Licenses.
