0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 2, 1973
The meeting was called to order at 8:07 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried.
Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Foldy, Schaumberg, Wallner and Knudsen.
Robert Hering, 4105 Hwy "OO", Saukville, Wis. appeared to apply for an
Operators License.
Mary Jane Walberts, W172 S7505 Lannon Dr., Muskego, appeared to apply
for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License.
Ald. Foldy moved to authorize attendance of all aldermen and Mayor at
$6.00 per person to attend the League of Municipalities Annual Dinner
Meeting to be held at the Red Carpet Inn in Milwaukee on June 11, 1973.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to authorize attendance of two aldermen at the cost of
approximately $20.00 per person at the Annual Governor's Conference to
be held on May 16 and 17th at the American Baptist Assembly. Seconded
by Ald. Foldy. Motion carried.
Mayor Gottfried and Superintendent Bertram will meet with State and
Federal Officials on Friday, May 4th regarding disaster aid for Muskego.
One bid was received from Community Newspapers to serve as the official
city newspaper - Minutes and Legal Notices $1.54 per col. inch and City
Advertising - $1.68 per col. inch. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council
approval. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The cornittee discussed the use of a high school girl as recording
secretary for the various committee meetings. It was a temporary
decision that all committee members and chairmen cease all discussions
and show proper courtesy to the present aldermen secretaries in order
that they may record the actions of the committee and still have the
ability for full participation in all discussions.
Correspondence from Assessor DeAngelis regarding erroneous tax assessment
against Parkland Plaza for deeded 15-acre park was received. Ald.
Schaumberg moved to recommend credit of $505.54 on their 1972 tax.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke.. Motion carried.
Discussion took place on the following - James Kibbie, Utility Maintenance
Man will be treated on overtime as his predecessors, that is, for overtime
worked he will receive compensatory time off -- after all of the alarms
are installed he will not be required to inspect on weekends and holidays
and at that time his overtime will be treated as time and one-half or
0
0 double time as the case may be.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of Operators License for Robert
Hering. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. e The meeting adjourned a-t 9:50 P.M.
