0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 3, 1973
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy and Dumke.
Mr. David Scherbarth appeared before the committee to apply for an
Operator's License. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval
of an Operator's License for David Scherbarth. Seconded by Ald.
Foldy. Motion carried. e- A letter from the Country-Side Theatre organization regarding
preservation of the old city hall was received. Action was deferred
on this matter for two weeks.
Correspondence from the State Department of Transportation was received
advising the city of the final payment of.$1,123.29 for Highway Privilege
Tax.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend to the Common Council payment of $6,000.00
to Ryan Contractors for Sewer Project MSS 9-71, leaving a balance of
approximately $90,000.00 still owing. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried.
0 Ald. Foldy moved to recommend payment of $8,000.00 to Brookfield Culvert
for the portion of the concrete invert completed in Ward I. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The meeting recessed at 8:05 P.M. for negotiations with the Dispatchers.
The meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
