0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 19, 1972
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:30 P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Sapp, Narlock and Burgemeister and Police
Chief Kraus.
The minutes of meeting held 1/5/72 were reviewed and placed on file.
Mr. Charles Krause, 10195 W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield, appeared
to apply for an Operator's License.
Ald, Narlock moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for
Charles Krause pending receipt of favorable Fingerprint and Medical
Report. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend payment of vouchers in the
amount of $161,534.47, subject to amended amount. Seconded by Ald.
Narlock, motion carried.
A letter dated 1/18/72 from Mrs. H. G. William regard prepayment of
Sewer Assessment in the amount of $2,307.89, was read. Ald. Narlock
moved to authorize acceptance of payment in full at no interest
subject to approval by City Attorney and that refund in the amount
shown on the 1971 tax bill for Special Assessment of sewers be re-
funded. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
Ald. Narlock moved to recommend approval of acceptance of Offer to
Purchase by Mr. James Blake of three acres in the Industrial Park
at $6,000.00 per acre. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
A letter dated 12/23/71 from Waukesha County referring to extension
of the E.E.A. Program for one year to the City of Muskego, was read
and placed on file.
Application for employment from Amy Schufletowski of S70 W18761 Gold
Drive, was received and placed on file.
Ald. Narlock moved to recommend adoption by the Council of Resolution
86-72 with the recommended amendment that the Alderman's salary
be reduced to $1,800.00 per year and the President of the Council's
salary be reduced to $2,200.00 per year. Seconded by Ald. Bueermeister.
Motion carried with Ald. Sapp voting in opposition to the recommendation.
