FCM19711208FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 8, 1971 The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Chairman Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Sapp, Narlock and Burgermeister. The minutes of the meeting held on 11/17/71 were reviewed and placed on file. . " The following persons appeared to apply for Operators Licenses: Jacomino Peroeschi, W188 S7740 Oak Grove Dr., Muskego George Scheerer, W184 S6632 Jewel Crest Dr., Muskego Ald. Narlock moved to recommend approval of Operators License for Jacamino Peroeschi. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister, motion carried. Ald. Burgeraeister moved to recommend approval of Operators License for George Scheerer pending receipt of favorable fingerprint and medical reports. Seconded by Ald. Sapp, motion carried. Communication received indicating payment to the city in the amount of $97,506.96 for 1971 Income Tax Apportionment. Ald. Burgermeister moved to engage Tax Researchers, Inc. - Martin J. Seibert & Associates, to examine the 1971 State Income Tax returns. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Ald. Narlock moved to authorize advertising of bids for fuel oil and gasoline for all city purposes. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister, motion carried. Ald. Sapp moved to recommend payment #2 on new city hall as follows: Tri-County $21,443.00 E. D. Wesely 4,651.00 Zinner Electric 2,609.00 Tri-County 1,201.00 Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried. Ald. Burgermeister moved to recormnend issuing of Junk License to Jack Glockner advising him that the city intends to phase out this operation within four years. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Ald. Narlock moved to recommend transfer of funds within the Park and Recreation Dept. Budget as follows: From To Amount Baseball Transportation $ 225.00 Maint. Equipment Park €X Rec Supplies 65.00 Swimming Maintenance Bldgs. 875.00 Memorial Day Parade Maintenance Bldgs. 400.00 Insurance Maintenance Bldgs. 100.00 - - Motion seconded by Ald. Sapp and carried. " ~ Negotiations for city employee's salaries were discussed and meeting date set with the Police Department Dispatchers and the Police Department Officers/Patrolmen. All other departments will be contacted as to setting up meeting dates. The sale of city lands on Pioneer Drive were discussed. No action was taken pending further information from prospective purchasers. Ald. Sapp moved to adjourn. Seconded by Narlock. The meeting adjourned ". " -.
