FCM19710922FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 22, 1971 The meeting was called to order at 7:lO P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Sapp, Narlock and Burgermeister. The minutes of the previous meeting held 9/8/71 were reviewed and placed on file. A communication indicated that the city is in receipt of $71,429.15 last payment from the State was $63,889.80. Ald. Narlock moved to award George M. Brown unemployment compensation as per his claim against the city. Seconded by Burgermeister, motion carried. Mayor Gottfried read a letter from Building Inspector Lee regarding his vacation policy. Action was deferred until an investigation can be made of his starting date and the past vacation policy in other years. William Hockett, W194 S7060 Hillendale Dr., Muskego re-appeared w regarding his application for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage 0 from the State of Wisconsin for Highway Aids. It was noted that our 0 carried. and Intooicating Liquor License. Seconded by Burgermeister. Motion The following people appeared to apply for Operators Licenses: Rosalie Graikowski, 1917 Madera, Waukesha, Wis. Ronald Millious, W188 S6323 Gold Dr., Muskego, Wis. Donald Dalzell, 417 Bellvue Dr., Waukesha, Wis. Ald. Narlock moved to recomend approval of Operators Licenses for Rosalie Grailowski and Ronald Millious pending receipt of a favorable fingerprint report. Seconded by Narlock. Motion carried. Ald. Sapp moved to recommend approval of Operators License for Don Dalzell pending receipt of favorable medical and fingerprint reports. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. The appraisal of insurable property for the City of Muskego was re- viewed. Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend to have the policy remain as is for the year 1972. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Thomas Disposal of Hales Comers applied for a garbage refuse permit. Ald. Burgermeister moved to grant permit. Seconded by Narlock, motion Ald. Sapp moved to recommend approval of payment of vouchers in the amount of $92,563.48. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Bids received for city-owned lots in the Fountainwood Subdivision (Lot 6 Blk. 1; Lot 3 Blk. 6; Lot 5 Blk 7; Lot 2 Blk 24; and Lot 2 Blk 25) were reviewed. Ald. Sapp moved to reject a.ll_bids_as received frorn-Qual-%ty--- Bf1-C~ CFr?oration. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Bids received for city-owned land of 5.50 acres on Durham Dr. in Sec. 11 carried. were reviewed. Ald. Burgermeister moved to reject bid received from Adam Hornak. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Bids received for city-owned land of 9.5 acres on Pioneer Dr. were re- viewed. Ald. Narlock moved to defer action until a further study can A letter dated 9/21/71 from Mrs. Marcella Larsen and Mrs. Leona Wollman regarding Otto Hohensee Estate was received and read. Ald. Sapp moved to adjourn, seconded by Narlock, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M. be made. Seconded by Sapp. Motion carried.
